How might one become an intern with Antioch Network?

 

Dr. Andrew Jackson: Associate; ITN

Andy is a professor, writer, and a missional advocate for the nation of Turkey.  He earned his M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary and his Doctorate degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  He has traveled to over twenty nations of the world experiencing first-hand the original home lands of all the primary religions of the world.  He has also traveled extensively through the Islamic nation of Turkey over the last 19 years. He has authored several books, including The Lost Land of the Bible: A Christian Travel & Prayer Guide Through the Biblical Land of Turkey, Mormonism Explained: What Latter-Day Saints Teach and Practice, and is presently writing Islam Explained: What Muslims Teach & Practice.

Kim Kane: Advocate; Justice Ministries

With her husband, Dan, and their three children, Kim spent extended seasons of engagement in Mexico working with a ministry serving immigrants and an impoverished community along the U.S./Mexico border. God used their involvement in Mexico and Dan's involvement in India to awaken them to God's passion for justice and to the work of those seeking justice in Christ's name. As an advocate, Kim works to promote awareness of human trafficking (modern day slavery) and support those ministering to victims of oppression and exploitation by calling people to prayer and other means of engagement. Kim and her family live in Maryland.

Jayson Knox: Executive Director; ITN

As Director of the International Turkey Network (ITN), Jayson's primary responsibilities focus on advocacy for the work in Turkey. Jayson has been involved in pastoral work in the United States. He and his family live in Arizona.

Patricia Lew: Assistant to the Director; ITN

Pat has lived in the Middle East and carries a passion for missions. Her work for ITN began as a volunteer and she now serves on staff with a portfolio that includes various project coordination roles and oversight of office operations. She loves Turkey, traveling there as often as possible. She and her family live in Arizona.

Dan Malakowsky: Apprenticeship to Jesus

Danny began his work in ministry giving leadership to outreach programs while on staff at a local church. In a pursuit to see those in his community come to Christ, he began pursuing community living as a vehicle for reaching the lost. In this pursuit he found the need for discipleship. Danny is now working with the development and expansion of the Apprenticeship to Jesus initiative in Arizona where he lives with his family.

Dr. Frank Martin: Leadership Development; ITN

Frank is working with the International Turkey Network to train church leaders in the Turkic world.  His ministry focuses on training emerging Turkish pastors and other workers in Turkey.  This training focuses significantly on character development and is primarily church-based.  He is also involved in church planting and in connecting Latins with the work in Turkey.  He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MDiv) and Phoenix Seminary (DMin).  Frank and his wife live in Arizona.

George Miley: Founder; International Director

George and Hanna Miley were overseas missionaries with Operation Mobilization (OM) for 20 years.  They were members of some of OM’s first teams in Europe, Israel and India.  George served as the pioneer Director of the OM Ships LOGOS and DOULOS.  In 1987 the Mileys founded Antioch Network, and have ministered among unreached peoples and local churches on every continent.  Hanna is Jewish, and was born in Germany during the Hitler period.  She escaped in 1939 as a 7-year-old refugee five weeks before the outbreak of World War II.  Her parents could not leave Germany and died in the Holocaust. Today George and Hanna’s ministry is increasingly centered in the Eifel region of Germany, Hanna’s home area, where God has called them to a ministry of prayer and reconciliation.

Randy Shreckengast: V. P. of Operations

Randy joined Antioch Network in 2001 after 15 years of serving in local church leadership.  His passion is missions, and his gifting is in administration.  In 2005, Randy assumed the role of V.P. of Operations, overseeing all the day-to-day functions of Antioch Network including corporate events, finances and personnel.  Randy and his family live in Arizona.

Dr. Mark Snelling: President

Mark joined Antioch Network in 2003, having previously served as the Church Services Director for Interdev, a missions organization focused on facilitating field-based mission.  With 25 years of pastoral experience, Mark has a deep love for the local church coupled with a strategic outlook to develop church-based advocacy networks for reaching the worlds' unreached peoples. Toward that end, Mark works with catalytic churches, trains and mentors leadership teams for various networks and works on strategic initiatives for reaching key nations and/or regions in the least reached areas of the world. Mark and his family live in Washington state.

Ryan Thurman: Apprenticeship to Jesus

Ryan began his mission journey early with trips to Mexico and Japan while still in high school.  Since then he has been involved in Young Life leadership and has had a season in pastoral ministry.  He started working with Bosnian refuges displaced by that war, and has now spent considerable time in Bosnia working with a church-planting network.  Ryan's work with Antioch Network centers around the development of the Apprenticeship to Jesus initiative, as well as spearheading 24/7 prayer movements in Arizona, where he lives with his family.
